Arsenal's core player Saka was recently interviewed and expressed his views on the injury suspension of teammate Ödgö and the challenges of his personal career. Ödgö will temporarily leave the team due to an ankle ligament injury sustained in a national team match, to which Saka said that although Ödgö's absence is a huge loss for the team, Arsenal has enough strength and resources to fill the gap.
"Ödkö is a world-class player and his absence will undoubtedly make things difficult for us." Saka said, "But we have to adapt to the situation. We have a lot of strong players in the team and players who can play in his position. Until he returns, we will find a way to cope."
Talking about his personal experiences, Saka admits that coming second in the Premier League as well as the Europa League for two consecutive seasons was a challenge, but that these experiences have also pushed him to grow. "All of that is behind me and I have learned a lot from it." Saka said, "Whether it's on a technical, tactical or mental level, I'm constantly improving. I see these experiences as motivation to grow."
For the future, Sarkar shows a strong desire to win. "I aspire to achieve what has not yet been achieved." He said, "At club and national team, we had moments when we were close to the title, but ended up missing out on it. This regret has become a source of motivation for me. Especially after finishing second in the Premier League for two consecutive seasons, we are even more eager to break through this bottleneck."
