In the 3rd round match of the German top league on September 14th, Leverkusen showed their strong momentum in the new season with a 4-1 win over Hoffenheim by virtue of their excellent teamwork and multi-point attacking performance.

At the beginning of the game, Leverkusen quickly entered the state, showing a strong desire to attack. In the 18th minute, Boniface sent a precise assist from the side road, and Terrier scored the first goal for Leverkusen, making the score 1-0. This goal not only broke the deadlock on the field, but also inspired the whole team of Leverkusen to fight.

Leverkusen then continued to build up their offense and extended their lead in the 33rd minute. Boniface made it 2-0 when he dribbled past a Hoffenheim defender and pushed the ball into the back of the net, giving Leverkusen fans a glimpse of his potential as a central player in the team.

However, Hoffenheim did not give up on the game. They equalized in the 38th minute by Berisha. Berisha took a pass from a teammate in front of the penalty area and shot the ball into the corner of the net, making the score 1-2. This goal gave Hoffenheim the hope of equalizing the score.

Leverkusen did not give Hoffenheim too many chances. In the 72nd minute, Dennis Geiger was fouled in the penalty area and the referee awarded a penalty kick. Wiltz took the penalty kick and made it 3-1, which not only sealed the game, but also made the Leverkusen fans even more excited.

Leverkusen didn't let up on their desire for a win in the closing stages of the game. In the 75th minute, Boniface stepped up again. He dodged Hoffenheim's defenders in front of the penalty area and shot the ball into the goal, completing his double goal of the match. This goal also completely killed the suspense of the game, and Leverkusen finally beat Hoffenheim 4-1.
