In the first round of the UEFA Champions League group stage, Scottish giants Celtic hosted Slovakian powerhouse Bratislava. In this match, Celtic's whole team was in hot form, and the attacking end had many blossoms, and finally won the opponent with a score of 5-1, and achieved the opening red of the group stage of the Champions League.

In the first half, Celtic showed a strong offense. Although Dauran Maeda's header was valiantly deflected by Takach, the team was not discouraged. Engels then assisted Skiles' header from a corner kick to open the scoring for Celtic. Shortly after, Daizan Maeda tried another header, but this time failed to capitalize on the opportunity and put the ball over the bar.

In the second half, Celtic's offense gained more momentum. Kuhn sent a pinpoint cross from the edge of the area and Henwu Furuhashi crashed a smart shot in front of the goal to increase the score to 2-0. Immediately after that, Johnston created a foul in the penalty area and won a penalty kick for Celtic. Engels hit the penalty to make it 3-0.

However, Bratislava did not give up. They gradually found the rhythm of the game through aggressive fighting and counterattacking. Wimmer calmly used his outside foot to hit the ball into the corner of the net in one of the attacks, bringing back a goal for his team. However, this goal did not change the trend of the game.

Celtic then continued to step up their offense. Flagman Renyo delivered a pinpoint assist from the wing and Daizo Maeda pushed a shot into the net in front of the goal to extend the lead to 4-1. Towards the end of the game, Ida received a direct ball from a teammate and calmly fired a low shot into the far corner of the net to seal the win for Celtic.

In the end, Celtic thrashed Bratislava 5-1 to secure their first win of the Champions League group stage.
