In the twenty-fourth minute, a cross from the Henan side of the field led to Song Yuntong's towering header for the winning goal.

Meizhou Hakka (penalty shootout) Suzhou Dongwu 3-5
The two sides exchanged whitewashes in the first half of Meizhou Hakka's challenge against Chinese League One side Suzhou Dongwu. Nanjing City countered with a chance in the 55th minute when Masika sent a direct shot that Yunzi Duan followed up with a push to equalize.
Masika issued another assist in the 65th minute and another foreigner, Jefferson, launched a breakaway goal. 2-1 reverse to Ateneo's Nanjing City.
However, Ateneo's foreign captain Sergio kicked twice on his head in a two-minute span in the 72nd and 73rd minutes to help Ateneo go over the top 3-2.
At the end of the match, Cao Yongjing and Masika scored a goal each for both teams to make it a 4-3 thriller for Ateneo.
