In last night's EPL 5th round match, Manchester City hosted Arsenal for 90 minutes and finally shook hands with a score of 2-2. After the match, City midfielder Gündoğan was interviewed by the club's officials, giving insights into the ups and downs of the match as well as the outstanding performance of teammate Harland.
Gündoğan began by emphasizing the importance of the draw for the team: "This is undoubtedly a point we need to cherish, it came so hard, the emotional ups and downs were like riding a roller coaster, from the initial frustration and anger, to the ultimate joy of reaping the benefits of a draw, a mix of these complex emotions, which gave us a deeper appreciation of the charm of soccer. " He further pointed out that although there were many things the team could have done better in the game, such a result was acceptable considering the strength of the opponents and the intensity of the game.
Speaking about teammate Harland's milestone goal - his 100th for City - Gündoğan couldn't hide his excitement: "Harland's goals are not just a testament to his individuality, they are a great inspiration for the whole team. The dominance he shows on the pitch and the positive attitude he conveys in the dressing room are priceless. Mentally, he is also vital to us, and his presence makes the whole team more confident and united. We are immensely proud to have a player of Harland's caliber and are confident that he will continue to bring us more surprises and victories in the coming games."
