Beijing time on March 29, the Chinese Football Association (CFA) announced the access list for the 2023 season of the third tier league, including Guangzhou and Kunshan soccer clubs, two Chinese Super League teams missed out. Guangzhou is an immigrant family, and while Guangzhou didn't have access, a consortium of state-owned enterprises led by Guangzhou Automobile started another stove. For Guangzhou (formerly Shenyang Jinde), a family of immigrants, Yangcheng really can't stand it. As for the dissolution of two championship teams in three years in Jiangsu soccer, this proves that Jiangsu soccer is too realistic in the face of difficulties to "give up" unprofitable enterprises or teams.
Guangzhou's predecessor was Shenyang Jinde, which later became Changsha Jinde, and then went to Shenzhen Phoenix, where R&F stepped in and brought the team to Guangzhou to play the "Guangzhou Derby" against Evergrande.
However, Guangzhou has always been regarded as an "immigrant family" by Guangdong fans. In contrast, Guangzhou Evergrande is to some extent a local team. Formerly known as Guangzhou Pharmaceuticals, Guangzhou Evergrande was later renamed Guangzhou Team, taking the title of Guangzhou's local team in advance.
Although Guangzhou has no access, a consortium of state-owned enterprises led by Guangzhou Pharmaceuticals has quietly registered Guangzhou Shadow Leopard, with a registered capital of 100 million yuan, to make a fresh start. Local Guangdong companies are more willing to train a local team than to support immigrants.
Jiangsu disbanded after winning the CSL title in 2020, while Kunshan FC failed to appear in the 2023 season after winning the Central League title in 2022.
Although Jiangsu has a lot of big businesses, but Jiangsu enterprises for professional soccer this kind of money-burning sports or too realistic, too much investment, or Kunshan FC investment is unfair, decisive "cut meat" is also in line with the usual style of Jiangsu enterprises.
