On March 9th, Shijiazhuang Kung Fu Football Club officially released a set of photos of Yutong International Sports Center with the caption: Spring returns, Yutong returns.
This set of pictures and just eight words should contain at least two meanings: first, after three years, Yutong International Sports Center will once again welcome the professional league; second, Shijiazhuang Kung Fu Team will return to Shijiazhuang for the first time to play at home, and Yutong International Sports Center will undertake this important mission.
Judging from the footage on the field, the turf at the Yu Tung International Sports Center has been well-maintained, even though it hasn't been used for professional matches for three years. Based on this, with a little bit of "beauty", I believe it will appear in the new season with a brand new image.
Yutong International Sports Center last hosted a professional match three years ago. At that time, it was the home of Shijiazhuang Yongchang. In the 2019 season, Shijiazhuang Yongchang (now renamed Cangzhou Lions) was still in the Central League at that time. After traveling south, he returned to the Chinese Super League as expected with a record of 56 points. However, the following year, due to an epidemic and other factors, the Chinese Super League adopted a tournament system, and Shijiazhuang Yongchang failed to appear at the Yutong International Sports Center. At the end of the season, they were relegated again. Fortunately, in the 2021 season, they replenished and returned to the Chinese Super League. It was also during this season that Shijiazhuang Yongchang was renamed Cangzhou Lions for various reasons.
Meanwhile, Shijiazhuang Kung Fu, formerly known as Elite Zhihai Football Club. Starting in 2020, he worked his way up from the Champions League and took three years to complete the three-level jump from the Champions League to the A-Junior League. It's worth noting that in the past three years, the epidemic has caught up just in time. Both the Chinese Champions League, the Chinese B League and the Chinese A League have adopted a tournament system. As a result, Shijiazhuang Kung Fu has never really made an appearance at Shijiazhuang's home stadium.
Now, with the epidemic spreading and professional leagues at all levels resuming their home and away system, Shijiazhuang Kung Fu has naturally returned to Shijiazhuang. It is reported that Shijiazhuang Kung Fu's home ground is located in the Yutong International Sports Center. Previously, when Shijiazhuang Yongchang set up their home stadium here, it created a hot ball market in Shijiazhuang. Now, will this hot scene be reproduced? Let's wait and see.
It should be noted that Shijiazhuang Kung Fu finished the 2022 China First Division season in fourth place on the table with 20 wins, six draws and eight losses scoring 50 goals and losing 31 to earn 66 points, just one step away from the Super League zone. However, against the backdrop of many teams in the Chinese Super League sounding the entry alarm, even last season's Chinese First Division champions, Kunshan, have not been concentrating on their preparations. It is theoretically possible for Shijiazhuang Kung Fu to replenish and advance to the Chinese Super League. If that's the case, the Yutong International Sports Center would be more than welcome.
