Kingsley Coman Coman grew up in Paris Saint-Germain but moved on a free transfer from Serie A club Juventus after his contract expired in 2014. He collected the Serie A title and the Coppa Italia in his first season in Italy. In August 2015, he then joined Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich on a rent-and-buyout deal.
Born in 1996 in Paris, France, Coman started his soccer career in 2002 at the age of 6, encouraged by his father to go to the amateur club Sénar Mouassi in the Seine-et-Marne department. He joined the latter's youth camp in 2004. After nine years in the youth system, Coman made his professional debut on February 17, 2013 for Paris Saint-Germain.
On July 7, 2014, after the expiration of his contract with the French side, Coman moved on to sign a new five-year contract with Serie A club Juventus. He made his Serie A debut for Juventus on August 30, 2014, and was voted Man of the Match in this match against Chievo.
On August 30, 2015, Juventus reached an agreement with Bundesliga club Bayern Munich, agreeing to loan Coman to the latter for two years at a cost of 7 million euros, with the possibility of Bayern Munich buying him out at the end of the loan period for an additional fee of 21 million euros. Coman made his debut on September 12, 2015 at Bayern.
On April 28, 2017, Bayern Munich officially announced that it had activated Coman's "release clause" for a transfer fee of €21 million.
