Time flies, in the blink of an eye, March is here, and if the schedule of this season's Chinese Super League can be carried out according to the FA's plan, there is still more than a month to go before the opening of the 2023 Chinese Super League.

And now 16 of the 18 teams in the Chinese Super League, the candidates for the head coach have been confirmed. They are:

Wuhan Sanzhen's Pedro, Shandong Taishan's Hao Wei, Zhejiang's Jordy, Shanghai Port's Javier, Chengdu Rongcheng's Xu Zhengyuan, Beijing Guoan's Stanley, Tianjin Jinmen Tigers' Yu Genwei, Shanghai Shenhua's Wu Jingui, Dalian People's Xie Hui, Cangzhou Lions' Zhao Junzhe, Changchun Yatai's Chen Yang, Shenzhen's Chen Tao, Guangzhou City's Li Wei Feng, Qingdao Haixiu's Antonio, Nantong Yun's Patricio.

Interestingly, of these 16 Super League teams, eight have foreign coaches while the other eight have local coaches, creating exactly eight. :eight. The battle between local and foreign coaches in the Chinese Super League can now be said to be evenly divided.

As we all know, Chinese Super League clubs in the era of gold dollar soccer preferred to hire foreign managers, and the bigger the "card" the better. With the bursting of the gold dollar soccer bubble, most of the clubs in the Chinese Super League are having a hard time now. Many of them don't have enough money to hire foreign coaches or big names, and Shanghai Harbor is a typical example.

In the past few seasons, Shanghai Seaport has been the most dirt-cheap club in the Chinese Super League, with foreigners and foreign coaches spending a lot of money to invite them. After the fall of former Football Association president Chen Xuyuan, Seaport lost the backing behind them and now they dare not spend money recklessly.

In this case, Harbor Club targeted the Chinese Super League head coaches and they poached Javier, the Spanish head coach of Henan Songshan Dragons, back to Shanghai. Javier's annual salary at Seaport is completely worthless compared to Seaport's previous coaches. His annual salary is only 2 million dollars, which makes him the "cheapest" foreign coach in the history of Harbor Club.

Nevertheless, Javier's annual salary at the seaport far exceeded the amount he earned coaching at Songshan Longmen in Henan. Therefore, it is no wonder that Javier left Henan for the second time before the expiration of his contract with the club, wearing the hat of "traitor".

Although the Songshan Longmen club was reluctant to release Javier, the Spanish coach had already made up his mind and eventually they had to cancel his contract. I don't know if the Henan team was so happy to release Javier in exchange for his freedom because they were willing to give up their salary arrears.

Suddenly dug into a corner, Henan team could not find a new coach for a while. The position of the team's head coach is still empty, which greatly affects the normal spring training of the team.

Chinese Super League promotion horse Kunshan FC is in the same boat as Songshan Dragons. Due to the fact that many executives of the club are still overseas due to the "Li Tie case", Kunshan FC has not yet determined the time for the team's assembly, not to mention who will be the new coach. If the club's problems are not resolved in a timely manner, Kunshan FC is likely to face the danger of dissolution.

Here, we also hope that Songshan Longmen and Kunshan FC can tide over the difficulties, find the team's coach in time, and appear on the pitch of the new Chinese Super League season as scheduled.
