In preparation for this year's Asian Games in China, the Chinese Olympic team gathered for training in Foshan earlier this month.

After 10 days of training, training effect?February 13, the national Olympic team to find a Chinese B team practice feet, and finally both sides 1-1 handshake.

The National Olympic Team will be playing against Dandong Tengjiao, a strong B-League team that recorded 8 wins, 3 draws and 4 losses last season, finishing second in the league and qualifying for promotion.

In this warm-up match, 21-year-old Shanghai striker Liu Zhu Run helped the Olympic team score the first goal, but the Olympic team was unable to hold the lead, and Dandong Tengyue then equalized the score with a penalty kick. The final whistle was blown in the 70th minute of the match, with the score set at 1-1.

Most of the players on the Olympic team are from the Chinese Super League, with only three non-Chinese Super players, all of whom are at least major players in the Chinese Super League. Although Dandong Tengyue is about to play in China A in the new season, the squad should be mostly former China B players for the team until the transfer window opens, and it's really kind of disappointing that a bunch of Chinese super players can't win China B (Dandong reportedly has two foreigners on the team).

As for the reason for not being able to win, this may be related to the content of the Olympic team's recent training. According to the Olympic captain Tong Jie, in the past ten days, the team has been mainly physical training + military training, with players running 80,000-10,000 meters in the morning and receiving military training in the afternoon. According to the official website of the soccer association, some Olympic players found this training pace too tight and tiring. This warm-up match only lasted 70 minutes, I don't know if the physical factors of the players were taken into consideration.

The warm-up match also marked the end of the first phase of training for the Olympic team. The next day, the players of the Olympic team will take a flight to Dubai, UAE for the second phase of their training mission. Next, the team will play eight friendly matches against the UAE, Kyrgyzstan Olympic team and several local clubs in the UAE. The Olympic team will then travel to New Zealand for the third phase of training, where they will play two more friendly matches.

The National Olympic Team's training is expected to continue until the start of the new Chinese Super League season, while the Hangzhou Asian Games will begin at the end of September this year.

Many people often believe that if Chinese clubs put aside foreign aid, there is not much of a gap between Chinese Super League and Chinese B players. Judging from the results of the National Olympic warm-up matches, this argument seems to be justified. However, looking at it from another angle, although the National Olympic players can play in the Chinese Super League and Chinese A League, the FA has canceled the U23 policy in the case of the U23 policy. Perhaps without the support of the policy, these players are only at the level of China B.

I hope this draw is just bad form from the Olympic players, and I fear that if the rest of the overseas training remains like this, it will just be a shame to participate in the Asian Games.
