On Sept. 9, the BNSC team began its first winter training session at the Mission Hills training base in Haikou. Coach Stanley said the upcoming season will have higher goals than last year, with discipline, attitude and unity being the most important in his own opinion.
In the past few days, the Beijing national security team went to Haikou to actively prepare for the winter training after finishing and physical examination. In the training on the morning of the 9th, the team had its first training session as planned. In terms of personnel, Zhang Yuning and Zhang Chengdong temporarily missed this stage of training due to shoulder injuries, while Ruan Qilong and Liang Shaowen were also absent from the training ground. Injured Park Thanh has recovered from his injury and naturalized player Li Ke will take part in the winter training. In addition, Yang Fan, Jiang Wenhao, Leng Jixuan and Li Boshi have returned to the team from their loan spells, while Hu Jiaqi and Yan Yu, who performed well in the U21 League last year, have also taken part in the first-team training.
Next door, the other young players of the U21 team are also preparing for the new season, and the head coach, Mr. Zhai Said, will feedback the daily training to the first team coaching team in a timely manner. In the new season, Beijing Guoan will continue to implement the concept of "big first team", Stanley will also pay attention to the training of the U21 team.
Prior to practice, head coach Stanley rallied his players going into the new season. "First of all, I want to thank every player for their efforts last season, but this year we obviously have higher goals than last season," he said. The things I emphasize most are discipline, attitude and unity. This preparation period is very important for our team and for each of you."
Stanley also has his own plans for preparing for the new season, saying, "I can honestly tell you that I would like to have about 23 people on the whole team, which means that there are almost two options for each position. That way, everyone on the team can feel hungry and in crisis, and every player can give their all to the game."
According to the plan, Beijing Guoan's first team and U21 team will prepare for two stages in Haikou, Hainan to be fully prepared for the new season.
