
In the past three rounds, Ahn didn't play as Dalian Shide drew one and lost two, finishing sixth in the Chinese Super League and still missing out on the AFC Champions League.
In the 2010 Chinese Super League, Ahn made 24 appearances, starting 22 times and playing the full game 15 times, with the other two being last-minute substitutions.
At over 34, Ahn scored 10 goals in a single season to finish sixth in the Premier League's top scorers list and was once again the team's top scorer.
At the beginning of 2011, Dalian Shide had unfavorable signings and injuries at the same time. 35-year-old Ahn Jung-hwan missed the first six rounds and was a substitute for the next three.

June 11, 2011, the 10th round of the Chinese Super League, new coach Vengarda made his debut. Dalian Shide drew 2-2 with Changchun Yatai. In the 57th minute, Ahn equalized the score 1-1. In the 63rd minute, Ahn helped Dalian Shide to overtake the game 2-1. Ahn scored two goals in his first start, but those were the only two goals Ahn scored this season and the last two goals of Ahn's career.
However, Dalian Shide's record has not improved significantly. Ahn faded out of the starting lineup after playing a few games as a starter. She's 35 years old and really kind of clueless.
On October 29, 2011, Ahn Jung-hwan, who chose to leave in the 29th (penultimate) round of the Chinese Super League, made his debut. At the end of the first half, Dalian Shide was 0-1 behind Jiangsu Suntian. At halftime, the club held a farewell ceremony for Ahn Jung-hwan, and Ahn's family of four interacted closely with the fans at the scene.
In the second half, Ahn never played again, and Dalian Shide finally lost 0-3, which was the last game Ahn played on behalf of Dalian Shide, and also the last official game of his career.
In 2011, the previously suspended CFA Cup was restarted, but Dalian Shide was eliminated in the first round and Ahn did not play.
In the 2011 Chinese Super League, Ahn made 15 appearances and six starts, only playing the full game twice and scoring two goals. At the end of the season, Ahn left Dalian.
On July 14, 2012, the 17th round of the Chinese Super League Dalian derby was staged. Dalian Shide hosted Dalian Albin, a brother team acquired at the end of the season. Ahn Jung-hwan came as a guest to the match and was warmly welcomed by the fans when he arrived at halftime. It is said that Ahn returned to Dalian to recover his salary arrears.
This was Ahn Jung-hwan's last public appearance in Dalian. Since then, Dalian fans have seen Ahn Jung-hwan participating in various events through videos of the handsome man fat and full of gas.
