On January 18, Turkish Super League club Konya Sports officially announced that Stano, who coached Dalian Ren, has become the team's new coach, and the two sides signed a one-and-a-half-year contract.

In the Chinese league, Stano has coached Dalian Ren, Beijing Guoan, North Sporting, and Beijing Renhe. Former Konya Sporting coach Palut was sacked by the club for going four rounds undefeated.
