Alan Shearer is 54 years old and was born on August 13, 1970 . Born in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, he is a former English footballer who played as a striker. Scored as many as 260 goals in his fourteen-year Premier League career. He is the record holder for goals scored in the Premier League. On the international front, he scored five goals at the 1996 European Championships, winning the Golden Boot at that tournament. Alan Shearer was scouted and received an offer from Southampton to join the youth set-up. and was offered a contract by the club in 1986.
