On the evening of September 21, the 26th round of the Chinese Super League (CSL) staged a key match between Shandong Taishan and Wuhan Sanzhen. In this game, both sides showed a very high level of competition, but unfortunately, in the 90 minutes of fierce battle, both sides failed to break through each other's goal, and finally shook hands with 0-0.

In the first half of the match, Shandong Taishan occupied a certain advantage on the field, and they continuously launched an attack on Wuhan Sanzhen's goal through active scrambling and tacit cooperation. However, in a key defense, Shandong Taishan defender Zhang Qi put a shovel in the penalty area, although the action is a bit dangerous, but the referee did not award a penalty kick, which made the home team miss a chance to expand the score.

Both sides made changes to their lineups in an attempt to break the deadlock on the field. However, neither Shandong Taishan nor Wuhan Sanzhen were able to create much threatening offense. Both teams fought fiercely on the field, but were unable to convert their offense into goals. As time went by, there was a strong smell of gunpowder on the field, but fortunately, both players stayed calm and rational enough not to let the game get out of control.

Finally, with the referee's whistle, the match ended. Shandong Taishan and Wuhan Sanzhen exchanged a 0-0 draw. The draw was a heavy blow to Shandong Taishan. Currently, they have only 38 points in the table, 14 points behind Chengdu Rongcheng who is in the third place. With only 4 rounds left in the league, Shandong Taishan have basically lost their hope to compete for the third place in this season's Chinese Super League.
