--Norway and Malta League evaluations
Shen Zigui: I joined Norwegian club Stabaek as a professional player and it's become a career, there are new people, things, things to adapt and learn on the pitch. Leaving your hometown to play elsewhere, you need to manage your daily life and constantly monitor and remind yourself to make progress on the pitch. Playing in the Malta Premier League, I did well and had the opportunity to help my team avoid relegation.
-Talk about why you joined the Premier League
Shen Zigui: After the European soccer season ended this year, the Chinese Super League expressed interest in my professional soccer experience. I wanted to show more soccer fans what I could do on the soccer field, and I knew that Chinese fans were very supportive of Shenzhen Football Club and the Chinese Super League, so I decided to play in the Chinese Super League.
-Talking about Chinese Super Mixed Players
Shen Zigui:I've had exchanges with Zhou Dingyang of Chengdu Rongcheng and have had in-depth exchanges on soccer philosophy. I've heard about other players, but I haven't had the chance to get to know them. Now I am also in the Chinese Super League. I believe I have a chance to deal with them.
-Talking about the feelings of the Chinese Super League
Shen Zigui: I've only played a few games in the Chinese Super League so far, and I think the level of the Chinese Super League is very good. I hope to have more chances to win for the team.
-Personally preferred position
Shen Zigui: Whenever I'm on the field, I just want to score, assist and win the game. From my understanding of soccer, creative flexibility and attacking to score goals are my soccer mindset. Left wing forward is my main position, but I also like to play up front.
--Talking about dreams
Shen Zigui: My dream is to win more matches and trophies for Shenzhen and look forward to challenging for the AFC Champions League with my teammates.
--Talking about idols
Shen Zigui: I like players with keen observation skills and similar positions, those who are creative and can change the pace of the game, such as Neymar and former Chelsea player, Hazard, who is currently playing for Real Madrid, are stars I admire.
--Whether you know Chinese
Shen Zigui: My mom spoke Chinese to my sister and me when we were little, so I can speak some Chinese. Of course, it's not enough. I hope I can speak fluent Chinese soon.
--Impression of Shamrocks
Shen Zigui: After joining the Shenzhen team, I felt the welcome and support from my teammates and all the club personnel. Now I can communicate with players at home and abroad in both English and Chinese, and build tacit relationships on and off the field. I think Shenzhen is a strong and united team.
--What to do after training?
Shen Zigui: Besides the usual training, I sometimes go to shopping centers or restaurants with my teammates to eat, and sometimes I play some video games or watch TV series.
--Like what Chinese food?
Shen Zigui: My mom often cooks Chinese food. I've loved Chinese food since I was a kid and I'm used to eating Chinese food. Currently, my favorite is chops pot.
