Basketball All Rules 300:Basketball games are played by two teams, each team plays five players, and the goal of each team is to score on the opposing team's basket and to prevent the opposing team from scoring. Basketball games are managed by the referee and record desk personnel. The game is divided into the first and second halves, each half lasting 20 minutes, with a 10-minute halftime break. If the two teams have the same number of points at the end of the game, an extended game will be held for 5 minutes. If the ratio is still the same after 5 minutes, another 5-minute extended game will be held until the winner is determined. The team with more points at the end of the game time will be the winner of the game.
Types of scores: Scores are counted when the ball is thrown into the basket and recognized by the referee. Inside the three-point line is worth 2 points; outside the three-point line is worth 3 points, and free throws are worth 1 point. Jump ball game: The game starts with one jumper from each team to the center jump ball area, the referee will throw the ball to both teams and the game will start when the players jump up to fight for the ball. Replacement of players : Each replacement of a player must be completed within 20 seconds, and the number of replacements is not limited. Player substitutions are made during fouls, scrimmages, time-outs, etc. The referee may temporarily suspend the game. The referee may temporarily stop the clock. Free throws: Each player is allowed four (4) fouls, with the fifth foul being retired. A player may not play again in the same game. Free throws are shot without anyone being able to block or defend, and are made as a penalty to the offending team, giving the other team a chance. Free throws are to be taken by standing behind the free throw line and are to be shot within 5 seconds of receiving the ball from the referee. You cannot step over the free throw line until the ball touches the rim after the shot is made.

Ball-carrying collision: A body contact in which the player with the ball pushes or moves into the torso of a defending player. If the basketball finally touches the basket, the 24-second timer resets the clock, and if the shot fails to touch the basket, a 24-second time-out violation is assessed. 2. If the controlling team fails to make a shot within the 24-second time limit, the 24-second signal shall be sounded, and the violation of this rule is an infraction. Eight-second violation: The team in charge of the offense must get the ball to the opponent's half-court within ten seconds. If the ball cannot be transported to the opponent's frontcourt before the ten-second mark, the referee will award a serve to the opposing team, and the game will restart as a result. 5-second violation: 1. The offensive player must throw the ball out of bounds within five seconds. 2. The player who is being guarded by the tight defense must pass, shoot or dribble the ball within five seconds. 3. The player must throw the ball within 5 seconds. Fouls on both sides: A foul on both sides is an invasive foul that occurs when 2 players who are on the other side of the court foul each other at approximately the same time. In the event of a double foul, one foul shall be registered against each player, no free throws shall be awarded, and fouls shall be registered against the players only, not against the team as a whole.
