In Barcelona's close 1-0 win over Getafe in the La Liga, center back Erick Garcia made a surprise appearance at the back and contributed to the team's victory. After the match, he was interviewed by the media about being sent off in last week's Champions League and how he felt about the game.

Speaking about his personal experience, Erick Garcia said, "Being able to get a quick start after being unfortunate enough to be sent off in a Champions League game and for the team to still maintain a high level and win the game was a valuable experience for me. It made me appreciate every minute on the field even more and made me realize that I have to stay calm and focused no matter what situation I face."

Eric Garcia has a clear understanding of the game: "We knew it would be a tough game against a very tough opponent in Getafe. Although we weren't at our best today, the whole team put in a pretty good effort. We had a lot of chances to seal the win early, but unfortunately we didn't capitalize on them. The good thing is that the team still maintained a great level of defense in the final moments and eventually held on for the win."

Speaking about the great chance that Mayoral missed in the final moments of the game, Eric Garcia said, "That was the last attack of the game and it was really thrilling for us. We played well throughout the game and knew that our opponents would cause us problems. We had several chances to kill the game but unfortunately didn't capitalize on them. However, the team remained united and resilient at key moments and that was the key to us being able to win the game."

Regarding the intensive schedule, Eric Garcia admitted: "The three-day-one-game schedule is really quite difficult, and it is a great test for the players' fitness and will. But the most important thing for us is to stay focused and get all three points. Every game is a new challenge and opportunity and we will continue to work hard."

Finally, Eric Garcia also spoke about the demands of head coach Flick: "We know we have to give our all under Coach Flick. We have a high-level roster and we can see that in the results of today's game. It's everyone's responsibility to create this competitive atmosphere within the team, and if we all play at our best then the whole team will be stronger. We will continue to train and play hard to deliver more exciting performances for our fans."
