After Tottenham Hotspur's 3-0 win over Qarabag in the UEFA Cup, Tottenham defender Ben Davies spoke to UEFA's official website to share his thoughts and feelings on the game.

Davis first mentioned the toughness of the game, especially since the team was faced with playing with one man short at one point in the game. "The game started out tough, but sometimes you have to get through the tough times." He said, "We did a great job tonight and despite being outnumbered, we didn't give up and were aggressive in looking for chances, and in the end we capitalized on a couple of key chances, which is exactly what you need."

Davis had high praise for his team's defensive performance. "We had great defensive moments and the goalie had a great game." He said, "It was a total team effort, everyone contributed on the defensive end and we're happy with that."

Davis also talked about the team's strategy for dealing with playing with one less man. "We knew it was going to be tough to play with one less man, but it was a battle and we had to bite the bullet." He said, "Sometimes it takes a little more effort to get results and tonight we did. Some things went in our favor, but more importantly, we really deserved this win."

Finally, Davis expressed his confidence and determination for the team's future. "Given the game, you need to adapt to what's in front of you." He said, "I'm happy to contribute wherever I can, and we give our all in every game to try to win. No matter what difficulties we face, we will remain resilient and bring more victories to our fans."
