Former Chelsea boss Potter has shown his desire and confidence to return to coaching in an exclusive interview with the Telegraph. After 17 months of rest and reflection, Potter looks refreshed and ready to take on the challenge of football once again.

Porter admits that the time since leaving Chelsea has been a significant period of adjustment for him. Not only did he gradually come out of the shadow of his dismissal psychologically, but he also found his inner balance and strength through traveling, learning new skills, and spending time with his family and friends. He specifically mentions the Taylor Swift concert, an event seemingly unrelated to soccer, which became a way for him to relax and show Porter's humorous side.

Potter is full of anticipation and confidence about returning to coaching. He believes he has become more mature and resilient through his Chelsea experience, and has realized how to stay calm and focused in a high-pressure environment. He has received offers from English and European clubs as well as overseas national teams, which excites him, and says he will seriously consider every opportunity and choose the path that suits him best.

Potter also spoke about the growth and changes in his coaching career. From the fourth division in Sweden to the top eight of the UEFA Champions League, he has gone through countless challenges and trials, as well as accumulated a wealth of experience and lessons. He believes that these experiences will help him to go farther and more stable on the road of coaching in the future.

In addition, Porter revealed some of his daily activities during his hiatus, including working out, learning Spanish and maintaining his personal image. He emphasized the importance of self-care and credited these good habits with not only keeping him in good physical shape, but also boosting his mental state and self-confidence.
