In a recent interview with the Italian media, Carafiore delved into the differences between Serie A and the Premier League and expressed his feelings about joining the Premier League and his expectations for the future of the national team.
Speaking about his new life in the Premier League, Calafiore said, "It may be a bit premature, but I have gained a lot of favorites since I arrived here. This is thanks to my teammates and the club's staff, who have enabled me to adapt quickly to this new environment." He further noted that there are significant differences between the Premier League and Serie A: "I don't think it's better than our league (Serie A), but they are certainly very different. The Premier League is much more intense, the pace of the game is much faster, it's a unique league. Being able to come to England is an important leap in my career."
In addition, Calafiori spoke about his role and expectations in the national team. As a member of the national team selected by Spalletti, he has the responsibility of revitalizing the national team's ambitions: "We are in a new cycle. While past experiences are important, what's more important is how to learn from them and avoid repeating them. We're trying to forget the past and focus on the future and winning. I believe that under Spalletti's leadership we can rediscover the glory of the national team."
