Despite the fierce battle between offense and defense, both sides failed to break through each other's goal and finally shook hands with a score of 0-0. Baumgartner's shot and Ogbonda's long range shot were also confiscated by the St. Pauli keeper, showing St. Pauli's excellent performance in the defensive end.
