What is Frankfurt's home field

Frankfurt's home ground is called Deutsche Bank Park. The stadium was formerly known as Waldstadion. It is a 52,000-seat stadium in Frankfurt, Germany, used primarily for soccer and American football games. It was opened in 1925 and was also used for political rallies during World War II.

In July 2005 it was renamed the Commerzbank Arena, but during the 2006 World Cup it will be called the "Frankfurt World Cup Stadium". Almost the entire stadium was rebuilt and modernized for the World Cup, with four preliminary round matches and one semi-final, and three preliminary round matches and the final of the 2005 Intercontinental Cup of Nations between Brazil and Argentina were also scheduled for the stadium.

Renovated in 1937, 1953, 1974 and 2005, the building cost 150 million euros.
