Cantona ended his career as a footballer with Manchester United after winning the Premier League four times in five years, including two Premier League and FA Cup doubles (1994 and 1996), and was voted England's Footballer of the Year in 1996 and Player of the Century in 2000.
After playing for French clubs such as Auxerre and Marseille, Cantona moved to England to join Leeds United in 1991, winning the league title in his first season. In November 1992, Cantona moved from Leeds United to Manchester United for a transfer fee of one million pounds.
