According to Football Insider, Liverpool FC have expressed no concern in response to rumors that Salah has agreed a transfer deal with the Saudi side. Former Aston Villa striker Agbonlahor had revealed that Salah plans to move to the Saudi League at the end of the season, but Liverpool are optimistic about the rumors and are confident that they will be able to complete a contract extension with the Egyptian striker.

Salah's contract with Liverpool is due to expire next summer, and according to FIFA rules, he has the right to start negotiations for a preparatory contract with a club outside England in January next year. Nonetheless, Liverpool's senior management still hope Salah can put his long-term future in the club, and plan to open contract extension negotiations at the right time.

Salah has been the Saudi side's number one target for reinforcements since last summer, but given his importance at Liverpool and his contribution to the team, the club is strongly keen to keep hold of the key player.
