After defeating Lecce 3-0 at home in the 6th round of Serie A, Milan defender Tomori spoke to Sky Sport Italia to share his thoughts on his team's recent performance as well as his personal feelings.

On the team's journey from a poor start at the beginning of the season to a three-game winning streak, Tomori said, "I've always had confidence in this team, even if we didn't start off as well as we would have liked in the beginning. But we had the confidence and the ideas to improve and raise our level of play. Now we are playing more in line with our expectations, there are still some things we can improve on, but the important thing is that we are winning and that makes us happier. We have to keep the momentum going and keep working hard."

Speaking about his partnership with Gabbia, Tomori spoke highly of it: "Mateo (Gabbia)'s strength is clear to all of us, and his experience at Villarreal has made him even more mature and strong. When he returned to the team, we were all happy to play alongside him. He proved himself to be a reliable teammate and an important force on our defensive end."

Tomori couldn't hide his joy at being reunited with his teammate Abraham: "We've been friends since we were very young and I'm very happy to be teammates again. Abraham is always full of energy, he's eager to score goals, eager to control the ball, and this kind of positive attitude is exactly what our team needs. His arrival injects new energy into the team."

Looking back on the team's transformation from three rounds without a win to three consecutive victories, Tomori believes that this is not only a change in the technical and tactical level, but also an improvement in the team's mental outlook: "Everything has changed. Soccer is not only a competition of body and technique, but also a competition of spirit and mentality. At the beginning of the season we were not at our best, but now we have found the rhythm and feeling of winning. We've changed our attitude, the way we play defense, the way we attack, and the cohesiveness of our team. When we attack, we are more purposeful; when we play defense, we are more cohesive. This change has allowed us to be more comfortable and confident in the game."

Finally, Tomori emphasized the importance of continuing to work hard: "Although we have won three straight, this is just the beginning. We must remain humble and focused and continue to improve our performance. Only then will we be able to win more matches in the future."
