Ahead of Udinese's upcoming crucial clash with Serie A giants Inter Milan, the team's technical director, Inler, spoke to the media about his role, his reflections on the last round against Roma and his strategy for the upcoming match.
Speaking about the position of Technical Director, Inler expresses his love and sense of responsibility: "I really like this role because it allows me to stay in close contact with the team at all times. Whether it's the players' training or the preparation for a game, I'm able to get the information first and make adjustments accordingly. Today we will face an exceptionally difficult match against the powerful Inter Milan, but we are well prepared and the whole team will be in a strong frame of mind to meet the challenge."
Looking back on the last match against Roma, Inler was both honest and full of fighting spirit: "The match against Roma was indeed very difficult, they showed great strength and good athleticism, while we failed to get into the rhythm of the game quickly. However, it was a chance for us to learn and grow. Through this game, we realized our shortcomings and found a direction for improvement. Today, we will adopt a new formation - three midfielders - aiming to increase the team's stability and control to better cope with Inter Milan's attack."
Speaking about the upcoming match against Inter Milan, Inler showed his confidence: "Inter Milan is a top team with many champion players, their strength is beyond doubt. But we, Udinese, are not a team to be defeated easily, and we will go all out to fight for every second. In the Coppa Italia, we showed good form and fighting spirit, and the young players need to gain experience in this kind of high-level competition and learn how to stay calm and positive under pressure. We are having in-depth communication and discussions every day to make sure everyone has a clear understanding of the game and is well prepared. I believe that if we are united and give our best, we will be able to give our fans a great game."
