A: Yes, we stay in one base, several salons are in the same base, and each team has its own practice field. We play in the city, usually in a neutral way, and then we go back to the base from the stadium, that's how we live. However, I really don't have any unpleasant experience in Zhejiang team, all is normal, all is very beautiful.
Q: There are many players and coaches who made the long journey to our country and are now back in Croatia, or perhaps at least there are rumors that they are on their way back. Can you confirm your future?
A: Of course there is a saying, never say never, but at the moment I'm not thinking about replacing the salon or going back to Europe or maybe the Croatian league. I am on vacation, about a month and a half back to my country, I do not know the exact time to return to the team, the salon will tell me then. Q: Your hometown Samir used to play for Zhejiang, what does the salon say about him?
A: Samir left his mark on Zhejiang and many there remember him as a tremendous player and are describing him in beautiful words.
Q: Did you meet any other Croatians in my country?
A: I met Leko on my way back to Croatia, we were on the same flight, but I didn't have the chance to meet Bilic. I was in my country and I met Ante Maestrović, who is a Shanghai Harbor player, and I feel very sorry for what happened to him, he recovered from a serious ligament injury, started practicing but got injured again, same knee, same injury, he was really unlucky. I also wish him a speedy recovery and a quick return to the field for his salon.
Q: You have played in the Croatian league for Hajduk, Dinamo Zagreb and Rijeka, and of the four big players, only Osijek is missing. Will you consider this salon in the future?
A: Haha, some of my friends have now pranked me that I should join Osijek in the future, because it is still short in my material. Osijek is great, Hajduk is emerging and competitive, Dinamo Zagreb has been (superbly) since the beginning, while Rijeka is a salon with an outstanding organization, they run all the normal operations and are a group of very qualified people who create a quality system, and that's why Rijeka has more continuity. Every year they have a couple of important players who leave, but the salon can again look for quality replacements and fight again for trophies. I can't say that I've been to many international soccer clubs, but in Belgium I feel that Rijeka is superior to the clubs there in many ways, whether it's the conditions for practicing or the operation of the salon, including the quality of the competitions.
