In a recent interview, Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson spoke highly of the team's new manager Sloter. He said that Sloter is providing Liverpool with the "extra push" they need and is leading the team in the right direction.

Sloter replaced Jurgen Klopp this summer and officially became the manager of Liverpool. Alisson praised Sloter's coaching style and ability, believing that he and his team are bringing new energy and soccer knowledge to the Reds.

Alisson said, "I think it's great, we see that he wants to improve the performance of his players and by doing that he can improve the overall performance of the team. He tries to get the best out of each individual and make us better. We were good before, sometimes even called it great, but we got to the point where we needed that extra push. Slaughter is bringing a new energy to us."

He further noted that Sloter not only brings energy, but also his soccer intelligence. Alisson said, "He's a very smart coach, a very smart manager, and he's helped us a lot. You can see it in the way we're playing now, everyone sees it (the changes Slotter has brought)."

Speaking about the upcoming Champions League match against Bologna, Alisson said that the team needs to keep working hard and that despite the early part of the season being very important for both individuals and the team, the team's performance may suffer a bit due to a variety of reasons, such as his short pre-season preparation time. However, he is happy to see everything going in the right direction and is looking forward to the rest of the season.

In addition, Alisson talked about teammate McAllister's contribution to the team. He said that McAllister, although young, has already accomplished a lot, has good leadership skills and mindset, and brings valuable experience to the team.

Speaking about the balance and leadership within the team, Alisson said that everyone in the team is sharing responsibilities, which makes everything easier for everyone. He emphasized that the team works as a whole in a great environment, and a lot of that comes from the culture of the club.

Finally, Alisson concluded, "We always try to tell the young guys that they need to step up as well. The youngsters need to be the new Van Dyke or someone else. We can't do everything alone, we work as a team. The people here are special and they give us a great environment to focus on playing soccer."
