Arsenal defeated Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 at home in the second round of the UEFA Champions League stage in the early hours of this morning. After the match, Arsenal player Saka was interviewed by Prime Video, sharing his thoughts on the match and his team's performance.
Talking about Arsenal's dominance in set-pieces, Saka said, "I won't reveal any secrets of set-pieces, but we do put a lot of time and effort in training. Most of the time, we practice set-pieces, which makes it no coincidence that we get goals from set-pieces in every game."
Commenting on his current state of personal confidence, Sarkar said confidently, "This season, I am very hungry for victories. In previous years, we were often runners-up, which made me even more eager to win the title. This spirit of wanting to win titles is where my confidence comes from, I believe in myself and this belief pushes me forward."
When asked about the team's defensive performance, Sacca emphasized the aggressiveness of getting back on defense: "All of our offensive players have a strong sense of offense and want to push forward. But the coach kept emphasizing to us that we need to play well on the other side of the ball as well. You can hear the coach shouting from the touchline when possession is lost! It does take a lot of sacrifice and discipline, but that's what the team needs. Look at the results we've had, we've had a lot of times when we haven't conceded a goal and that's why we've been successful on defense."
