Arsenal defeated Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 at home in the second round of the Champions League stage in the early hours of this morning. After the match, Arsenal striker Havertz was interviewed by Prime Video, sharing his thoughts on the match and his recent personal performance.

Havertz first mentioned his six consecutive home games with a goal: "I don't know why, but I just love playing here and the fans. I'm very grateful to be here at Arsenal and it's a great feeling to play with this team. Playing at home always keeps me motivated."

On the physical confrontation in the game, Havertz said, "Of course I enjoy the physical confrontation in the game. In the past I may not have been a particularly confrontational player, but now I feel that confrontation is part of the game and I like to help my team gain an advantage through physical confrontation."

Speaking about his goal, Havertz looked humble: "I didn't think too much about it at the time, I just saw the ball and went for it. Luckily, I stood in front of the goalie and then the ball went in. Scoring a goal is always a happy thing, but what's more important is that the team can win the game."

Finally, Havertz spoke about the team's goals: "Beating a top team like Paris Saint-Germain always gives us motivation. Last year we lost against Bayern and that was tough for us. But we've learned from that experience and we've grown as a team. We want to make more progress this season and bring more victories to our fans."
