Paris Saint-Germain lost 0-2 to Arsenal in the second round of the Champions League stage early this morning. After the match, Paris Saint-Germain manager Enrique was interviewed by Prime Video, sharing his thoughts on the match and his outlook for the upcoming matches.
Enrique couldn't hide his disappointment at the loss: "I'm very sad that we couldn't compete with Arsenal today. They deserved to win the game with their excellent offense and solid defense. Arsenal's style of play is very mature, both with and without the ball, have shown the level of the top team."
Enrique made special mention of Paris conceding the second goal from a free kick: "There are always accidents like that in soccer and we have to accept that fact. In a match against a strong team like Arsenal, if we can't win the game, we may lose. Now, we will go back home and seriously summarize the gains and losses of this game and prepare for the next game."
Speaking about the upcoming match, Enrique said, "Looking at the draw results, we do not have good luck. But that's the way the game of soccer is, no matter who the opponent is, we have to go all out to deal with it. We will analyze every game carefully and work out the most suitable tactics to achieve better results in the upcoming matches."
