In this year's summer transfer window, Phil Kruger moved from Borussia Dortmund to West Ham United for a fee of €27 million plus a €5 million float. However, the German winger has made four appearances for West Ham United and is yet to score. In contrast, Dortmund managed to bring the Guinean winger to the Yellow and Blacks by activating Girassi's €18 million release clause in the summer transfer window.
