Tottenham Hotspur beat Manchester United with a score of 3-0 in a key match of the English Premier League. After the match, Tottenham player Kulusevski was interviewed by the media, sharing his feelings and views on the match.
Kulusevski began by talking about his position in the game, "Midfield is my position. I've grown a lot because now I can be more involved in defense. Before, I probably wasn't too involved in defense and that's why I didn't have too many opportunities in the midfield position. But now, I have grown further and am able to play to my strengths. I'm at my best in the midfield position, scoring goals and finding good passing opportunities."
He specifically mentioned his work with teammate Madison, "I also work well with Madison, who has excellent ball control. We were able to form a good understanding in the midfield and create offensive opportunities for the team."
Kulusevski spoke highly of his team's performance: "We have Bentancur, who played really unbelievable in that game against Manchester United. It looked offensive on paper, but it was very effective. We need to play like that because our season is only starting now and there are a lot of players who are performing well and that is reflected on the field."
Kulusevski also emphasized his team's pressing ability and overall performance, "Our pressing in the first half was excellent, they couldn't get the ball at all. We were able to steal the ball every time, which allowed us to take the initiative in the game. We won 3-0, but if we could have been more lethal, the winning score could have been bigger."
