In last night's EPL 6th round match, Manchester United lost to Tottenham Hotspur 0-3 at home, in which Portuguese midfielder B Faye was sent off with a red card in the 42nd minute for shanking Maddison. After the match, United legend Scholes expressed his views on B fee in the commentary.

Scholes noted that B Faye needs to be more disciplined in his positional sense on the pitch: "As a number 10, B Faye has a responsibility to make the team play great soccer, but he's out of his position too much in the game. You often see him dropping back into midfield and sometimes even appearing at left-back or right-back, which sometimes disrupts the team's whole playing style."

On B Fay's red card behavior, Scholes said it was a reckless move: "The red card was a reckless act, he gave the referee a chance. We've seen our captain act recklessly and wave his arms around many times over the last few years. He knows he needs to stop that behavior, but realistically, should that really happen?"

Scholes also mentioned that B Faye is now at an age where it's difficult to change himself: "As captain he has to set an example and yesterday it was clear that his performance wasn't good enough. He needs to be calmer and more disciplined on the pitch so that he can lead the team to victory."

Scholes' criticism is definitely a spur to B Faye to learn from this defeat and focus more on his position and duties to bring more victories for United. At the same time, it also reminds the rest of United's players to stay calm and disciplined during the game and work together for the team's victory.
