An official release announced the replacement call-up of mixed-race striker Adao to the national team for the September 7 World Qualifying Asian Zone 12 match against China.

Onaiwu Adau, 25 years old, plays as a striker and currently plays for Toulouse in Ligue 2. He is 1.8 meters tall and weighs 74 kilograms, and his father is a Nigerian, whose physical fitness and bouncing power are quite outstanding.

This is the third time the Japanese national team has called up Adachi, who made his national team debut in the Japan vs. Kyrgyzstan World Qualifier in June, scoring three goals in six minutes to score a hat-trick and help the Japanese team to a big win over their rivals.

Previously, Japan has had three players withdraw from the current national team, namely Itakura Hwang, Hiroki Sakai and Takumi Minamino.

The second round of the 12-team tournament between Japan and China will be played at 23:00 GMT on September 7, with both teams losing in the first round, Japan 0-1 Oman and China 0-3 Australia.
