The league will be played in two phases.
Stage 1: In accordance with the current AB group, a double round-robin point system was selected, with a total of 112 matches in 14 rounds of double round-robin.
Second stage: according to the first stage of the ranking of the points of each group, Group A ranked 1 to 4 teams, and Group B ranked 1 to 4 teams into the "championship group", Group A ranked 1 to 4 teams will play two games with Group B ranked 1 to 4 teams (the first stage of the same group of teams do not compete); Group A ranked 5 to 8 teams and Group B ranked 5 to 8 teams into the "championship group"; Group A ranked 5 to 8 teams and Group B ranked 5 to 8 teams into the "championship group"; Group A ranked 5 to 8 teams and Group B ranked 5 to 8 teams into the "championship group". The system of the Central League remains unchanged. The second stage of the competition time, from the original July 2 to August 8, changed to July 11 to August 17th. The third stage of the competition time, from the original August 20 to September 26, changed to September 3 to October 10th. The fourth phase of the competition will be held from November 17 to December 24, instead of October 22 to November 28, as originally scheduled.
The journey of the 2021 season of the Second Division League is fine-tuned.
The competition system of the Chinese B League remains unchanged. The third stage of the competition was changed from August 26 to September 26 to August 29 to September 29, as originally scheduled. The 16 teams will play each of the other 16 teams in a single-elimination tournament to be held from October 16 to 19. The 1/8 finals are to be held from October 20 to 23; the quarter-finals are to be held from October 25 to 27 and from October 29 to 31; and the semifinals are to be held on November 4 and November 8 in a double-elimination tournament. The final is to be played on November 13/14 in a single-elimination tournament.
