Juventus is about to face RB Leipzig in the Champions League, and ahead of the match, Bremer, the heart of the Zebras' defense, gave an interview to Picture Post, sharing his upbringing, his thoughts on the game, and some personal anecdotes.

Talking about his name, Bremer revealed an interesting secret: "My name comes from Andreas Bremer, the legendary German player of the 1990 World Cup in Italy. At the time, my father watched that World Cup, including the final, and Bremer's outstanding performance made him an idol. So when I was born in 1997, my father named me Bremer in honor of the German player. It also gave me a special connection to Germany."

Bremer did not have a wealthy childhood, coming from Itapitanga, a small and relatively poor city in Brazil. In order to provide financial support for his family, he began working at an early age, often selling ice cream or helping to carry heavy loads at fairs. These experiences honed his will and perseverance, and made him appreciate every opportunity to play soccer.

Speaking about his childhood dream, Bremer said, "My dream is to one day play for the Brazilian national team. Now that I've played five national team games, I hope to become an important part of the national team by doing well at Juventus."

On the upcoming Champions League showdown, Bremer said, "RB Leipzig is a very strong team overall and they have a lot of experience in the Champions League. Javi Simmons is a very good player with excellent technique, speed and good assisting ability, and it will be very difficult to play against him. But we are ready and looking forward to showing our strength in the game."

Apart from RB Leipzig, Juventus will also face tough opponents such as Stuttgart. According to Bremer, Stuttgart is a team that creates a lot of scoring chances and has a strong goal scoring ability, so they need to be especially careful in dealing with them. He especially mentioned Stuttgart's goal scorer Onduff: "Onduff is very strong and scores a lot of goals. However, no player is invincible and we will find a way to deal with him."

As Juventus' defensive leader, Bremer emphasized his work ethic and role model: "I always seek to do my best and try to be a role model in the locker room. First of all by setting an example through my actions on the field, and then by inspiring my teammates with my words. I think that's important for us as a young team."

Speaking about his goals at Juventus, Bremer said, "When you play for a club like Juventus, the goal must always be to win everything. We've already won the Coppa Italia, but I want to win more trophies. However, we're just starting out now, going through a lot of changes and need time to absorb all the new ideas."

In addition, Bremer spoke about the changes in the Brazilian national team and Neymar's injury: "Neymar is an incredible player, he is the best player I have ever played alongside. He is very important to the Brazilian team because he has the ability to decide the game. I hope he recovers quickly." On the question of whether Vinicius deserves the Ballon d'Or, Bremer said, "Last season, he showed his extraordinary ability at Real Madrid and proved that he deserves the Ballon d'Or."
