In an interview with the media, Manchester United defender Dalot delved into the rebuilding phase the team is currently in and expressed his views and attitude as a member of the team.

Dalot began by saying, "The club is going through a rebuilding process, which is a necessary process, although it will be accompanied by some pain. But it is part of our daily routine and we need to train harder and recover positively. Soccer itself is full of ups and downs, but as long as we can maintain a balance as players and as a club, the more likely we are to succeed."

He further added, "Reflection is very essential and we need to analyze everything we do, whether the result is good or bad. Everyone has 24 hours to relax and recover, but after that we have to be fully focused on the next game. Because every game and opponent is different, we need to adapt our strategy to the situation and improve our physical and mental condition."

When asked if he is seen as a potential captain of the team, Dalot appeared humble yet confident. He said, "It's an internal drive that motivates me to grow and become an integral part of the team. I think it's a natural progression and I want to do everything I can to help my teammates. As one of the more senior players in the team, it is my responsibility to pass on my experience at the club."

"I will be very happy if I can become the captain. Because it is not only a recognition of my personal ability, but also my contribution to the team. The Player of the Year award means a lot to me, and it's an honor that comes from my teammates who have played alongside me and are like family to me. This award gives me confidence, but it also makes me expect more from myself. I hope to maintain that consistency and leadership throughout my career."
