Brazilian star Neymar's contract with Saudi club Riyadh Crescent is set to expire next summer, on June 30, 2025, according to a new report from Daily Sport. The news has sparked the attention of a number of domestic clubs in Brazil, with powerhouses such as Flamengo and Santos already showing strong interest in Neymar.

Flamengo, one of the most powerful clubs in South America, have reiterated their desire for Neymar to return to the Brazilian Primera Division. Santos, where Neymar started his career, has also opened its doors to him and is looking forward to the return of the former golden boy.

The potential return of Neymar is certainly an attractive option for La Liga giants Barcelona. Prior to the successful introduction of Norwegian striker Haaland, Neymar was seen as the perfect transition solution for Barcelona in the forward line. It was reported that Neymar even took the initiative to join Barcelona this summer when they started looking for a new striker.

In the "Neymar soap opera", Barcelona President Laporta has an important negotiating trump card - super agent Zahavi. Zahavi not only successfully facilitated the transfer of Neymar from Santos to Paris Saint-Germain deal, and therefore received a commission of up to 10.7 million euros, he is also the current manager of Barcelona Frick and striker Lewandowski's agent.
