Liverpool beat Bologna 2-0 at home in the second round of the Champions League stage in the early hours of this morning. After the match, Liverpool manager Slotter was interviewed by TNT Sports, sharing his thoughts on the match and his feelings about coaching Liverpool.

Slot began by saying, "This game was not easy, Bologna made it difficult. Their defensive strategy was similar to Atalanta's, using man-to-man defense and looking for the right moment to counterattack on the field. Our final pass could have been better, but overall it was a good result."

Speaking about his time at Liverpool, Slotter expressed satisfaction: "It's not only true for the players, but also for my staff. They've been here before and from the start, everything has gone well. The players were also happy with the previous management system and the good news is that they have embraced it."

Commenting on tonight's game, Slaughter said, "There wasn't too much to be excited about other than the two goals, especially the second one, which pleased me. Van Dyke's passing was excellent and Arnold's run was fantastic. It's always difficult against a team that takes risks, but it was a good result."

Slotter spoke highly of Hrafenbech's performance, "I was very pleased with his performance. Although I won't tell him this at halftime because there are still 45 minutes of game time left, I said to him after the game 'you were outstanding again today'."

On the change in momentum in the first half, Slotter commented, "I don't think it was a matter of concentration. At the start of the game, Bologna had free kick opportunities and threatened a couple of times from set pieces. You could tell they had a very good game plan. If we're playing against a team that has a lot of possession, sometimes you have to work hard and endure the pain. But I was happy to see them go all out for the goal and do everything they could to keep a clean sheet."

Finally, Slotter spoke about his record as Liverpool boss: "It's almost impossible to do something special at this club. But we've won eight of our first nine games, which says a lot about how we started, how the players have settled into the team and the effort we've put in. Saturday's game will be even tougher, as we will face our next game on Saturday at 12:30pm after playing our Champions League game on Wednesday night. Obviously, it's great to start the season this way."
