In recent days in response to the Madrid Derby fireworks, Real Madrid veteran Carlos has spoken out, expressing his concerns about the image of Spanish soccer and commenting on several controversial incidents during the match.

Carlos began by addressing the incident of the 20-minute suspension of play in the Madrid derby, stating, "What worries me most is the image of Spanish soccer. We will wait for the FA to make the necessary decisions to ensure that such a situation does not happen again. I have lived in Spain for many years and it is time to address this issue. Responsible people have to do what they have to do and I don't care about the club, all I want is for Spanish soccer to do well."

In response to Atletico Madrid boss Simeone's comments, Carlos expressed his respect: "Everyone has their own opinion. If Ancelotti says something, I can comment because he is the coach of Real Madrid. And Simeone is not at Real Madrid, and I have respect and preferences, it is normal that he defends his team. We know that Simeone is a great coach, but in the end what happened yesterday left a bad impression."

Speaking about Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, Carlos believes that the attitude of the fans is questionable: "I'm not going to criticize the attitude of the fans, but everyone knows when they're wrong. I think the fans had some problems because Courtois didn't return the lighter to the stands either. But he didn't make any gestures or insult anyone."

On the issue of racism that Vinicius may have experienced, Carlos said, "Vinicius may have said some things, but it's an interview. If he made a mistake, he shouldn't be forgiven, but he also needs care. I don't think Spain is a country where there is racism."

Carlos also expressed concern about the masked fans in the stands: "I appreciate Atletico fans, but what happened yesterday was not normal. The image was brutal, I've seen similar scenes in Mexico. I was impressed by the image of the masked men I saw. They obviously made some preparations in advance, which is strange."

Finally, Carlos spoke highly of Vinicius: "He is very calm, close to the best in the world. Last season he played a great game and this year we tried to make him even more calm when facing the stands. The Ballon d'Or is there and I'm pretty sure he'll win it."
