Recently, soccer legend Rivaldo expressed his views on the attribution of the Ballon d'Or in an interview with the media. He made it clear that if the Ballon d'Or were to be selected now, Vinicius should be the winner.

Rivaldo spoke highly of Vinicius, saying, "Personally, I think Vinicius should be the first choice for the Ballon d'Or. Even though he didn't win the Copa America and didn't have a shining performance in that tournament, his achievements and contributions at Real Madrid cannot be ignored. He deserves this award."

As well as Vinicius, Rivaldo has also included Manchester City's Rodri in his Ballon d'Or shortlist. He explained, "Rodri is also a strong contender for the Ballon d'Or, mainly thanks to the fact that he helped his team win the Europa League. In addition, he and Manchester City have won a number of important titles over the past few years, including the Premier League. All these honors add to his competition for the Ballon d'Or."

Talking about the third choice, Rivaldo chose Bellingham, who also plays for Real Madrid. He said, "Bellingham has had a fantastic season at Real Madrid and his performances have been eye-catching. Although there are many star players who could make the shortlist for the Ballon d'Or, if I had to pick the top three, I would put Bellingham among them."
