In a UEFA Cup match, Ferencvaros lost 1-2 to Tottenham Hotspur at home. After the match, Ferencvaros manager Jens Jensen gave an in-depth analysis and summary of the match in a UEFA post-match interview.

Jensen began by saying, "Playing against a strong team like Tottenham Hotspur is always a huge challenge for us. Therefore, it is very important for us to learn from previous games, especially against Anderlecht. Today you could see that we showed a very strong competitiveness on and off the pitch and created some good scoring chances. We kept that up throughout the game, which is a big improvement from last week."

On failing to capitalize on chances in the game, Jensen confessed, "In soccer, if you want to do well, you have to capitalize on your chances. We had some key moments and scoring chances, but unfortunately we didn't capitalize on them. Tottenham are an experienced team and they held on until the end and scored another goal before the end of the game. But you could see my players fought until the end and we scored a goal but unfortunately it was too late."

Despite the loss, Jensen recognized his team's performance, "I am satisfied with the players' performance, they showed tenacity and team spirit. We learned a lot in this game, which will help us in future games."

Meanwhile, Jensen also praised the UEFA Cup's format: "It's a great format with a total of eight matches, including two in January next year. It gives us more opportunities to show our strengths, to interact with different teams and learn from them. We are looking forward to playing in these tournaments and believe we will get better and better the more we play."

Looking ahead, Jensen said, "We will seriously summarize the experience and lessons learned from this game and continue to train hard to improve the overall strength of the team. I believe we will play even better in the next games."
