Why doesn't the FA rush to naturalize such a good player? Personally, I think that apart from the relevant procedures, it is very likely that the main reason why the decision-making authorities are having a hard time making up their minds is that they have learned a lesson from some of the previous naturalized players who were admitted to the team.

Previously naturalized players, except for a few players who have been restored, Hou Yongyong "not suitable for the soil", Li Ke at least twice because of "family reasons" failed to be selected for the top 36 (participated in the first two games) and the top 18; Luo Guofu has retired, and Eckerson is even difficult to find opportunities in the Ickerson is even hard to find a chance to play in the league. Currently, only Jiang Guangtai, Alan and Fernando are really available. However, due to age and declining form, they are no longer brave and have not helped the team as much as expected.

Oscar does not seem to have any of the above problems, but his performance is also the main reason why the relevant authorities have difficulty in making up their minds. There are two main aspects to this performance:

In the 18-19 seasons of China's First Division, Oscar could be considered respectable with 10 and 22 goals. But after joining the Chinese Super League in Season 20, he scored only two goals in 17 games (10 starts) and had zero assists. from Season 21 onwards, they both played for the Cangzhou Lions, scoring 11, six, six and seven goals (with two, six, four and four assists in that order). Such numbers hardly match the status of a relatively well-paid foreigner. That said, Oscar's abilities may not match the requirements of the national team.

Secondly, the mentality problem. Except for the first game, Oscar scored four goals in the first five rounds of the season and ranked third in the scorer list. But in the next 20 games, Oscar only scored 3 goals. This shows that his form fluctuates a lot. While it cannot be ruled out that he may be affected by the naturalization issue or other factors, what is the point of naturalizing into the national team?

The league has ended and Cangzhou Lions are fighting for relegation. In the just-concluded 25th round match, Cangzhou Lions narrowly beat Meizhou Hakka 2-1 at home and gained 3 crucial points. In this game, Cangzhou Lions' four foreign aiders all started, only Oscar went to France "because of economic disputes". How can this quality be reassuring?

Theoretically, I'm afraid all the players, including the foreigners, have real financial disputes. But the other players can put aside their personal interests for a while and give their best to focus on the game. Instead, the legendary Oscar "longed to wear the Chinese national team's jersey" and put the interests of the team and club aside. Is such a player worthy of the national team? Wouldn't it be a mess if a truly naturalized player, while representing the national team, threatened the team with "financial problems" or other issues?

Saying one thing but actually doing it, or even thinking another thing in your mind, is not a great skill. Fortunately, the FA or higher levels of management have a vision for such players. Such players are better off not being naturalized.
