The Timberwolves took advantage of the home court advantage to take the lead, blossoming inside and outside to quickly take the lead. Owen of Maverick led the team to a wave of 11-0 climax to overtake the score by virtue of his superb individual ability. The Timberwolves hit three consecutive three-point shots to regain the advantage.
Subsection:
Doncic led the team to catch up with consecutive points, and the Timberwolves kept the lead through a trifecta of three-pointers. The Lone Ranger had multiple points, and the Timberwolves led the Lone Ranger by three points, 62-59, at halftime.
Section III:
The two sides continued to tangle and traded leads. Gafford finished efficiently and the Timberwolves returned the favor with a steady output.
Endgame:
Doncic scored seven straight points to stop the opponent, Edwards stepped up to hit a three-point play, Doncic quickly responded with a three-point play, and the two sides battled into a white-hot stage. At the critical moment, PJ Washington hit a three-pointer, and Doncic's center shot extended the advantage to four points. Although the Timberwolves struggled to catch up, but failed to succeed.
