Cuadrado, who currently plays for Serie A side Atalanta Bergamo FC, is a Colombian footballer who plays as a winger.

Cuadrado joined Medellin's independent youth system from Atletico Uraba in 2007 and broke into the first team in 2008.

On July 2, 2009, he signed a five-year contract with Italian Serie A side Udinese, making his Serie A debut on November 1, 2009 in Udinese's 1-1 draw with Chievo. Cuadrado did not make many appearances for Udinese, and was loaned to Lecce for one season in 2011/12, where he scored three goals in 33 appearances, and then to Fiorentina for one season in the summer of 2012, where he scored his first goal on November 4, 2012, in Fiorentina's 4-1 home win over Cagliari. He contributed 5 goals and 6 assists in the 2012/13 season, helping the team finish fourth in the league, and in the summer of 2013, Fiorentina activated the buyout clause of his contract to officially sign Cuadrado.

Before the winter transfer window closed in February 2015, Premier League club Chelsea officially purchased Cuadrado for a transfer fee of approximately £26.5 million.

On April 15, 2022, Cuadrado opted for a one-year contract extension to continue his soccer career at Juve.
