Jenkins became the 13th head coach in Grizzlies history on June 11, 2019. Under his leadership, the Grizzlies have made significant strides. the Grizzlies posted the second-best record in the league with 56 wins and 26 losses in the 2021-22 regular season. He has won numerous Coach of the Month honors, and in June 2022, the Grizzlies officially confirmed a multi-year contract extension with Tyler Jenkins.
