On August 9, Manchester United's official website announced that the refurbishment of the Old Trafford players' entrance tunnel has been successfully completed and will be put into use before United's first Premier League match against Fulham on August 16th.

Manchester United are preparing for this weekend's Community Shield match against Manchester City at Wembley. After the game, they will return to the Theater of Dreams to launch the new season under the spotlight in front of 75,000 fans.

The club's goal was to modernize the access area and create a new environment that would inspire the men's, women's and youth soccer players to play. Corresponding LED lights were installed in the ceiling before the players stepped onto the pitch.

The left wall is adorned with a silhouette of the Red Devils, while the right wall reads "UNITED". Backlit insignia can be seen on the ceiling and walls. At the top of the hallway hangs a rearranged plaque honoring former clubman John Henry Davis and former owner James W. Gibson. In addition, the eagle badge, worn by Manchester United in the 1958 FA Cup final, shows a design derived from the Manchester coat of arms.

Following consultation with the Fans Advisory Committee, the executive seating area at Stretford was converted to a general season ticket area from July. Following discussions with fan representatives, the club implemented a number of fan-focused initiatives, including the installation of rail seating and a dedicated cheering section at Stretford.
