There was a miscarriage of justice in the China League One, as substitute Karanga made a flailing gesture after a scramble for the top spot in the match between Dalian Yingbo and Guangxi. The act was ruled an act of violence by the referee, leaving Dalian Yingbo fans with those four words in their hearts. After Embalo was suspended for an additional four games for elbowing, Dalian Yibo chose to terminate his contract and signed Karanga in the hope that he could strengthen the team's forward line, but it was not expected that he would have similar problems after only three games.
Karanga's action would have likely been penalized with an additional penalty, facing a three-game suspension. Thankfully, the referee did not show a red card at the time, thus allowing Karanga to avoid a red card suspension. Next up, Dalian Yingbo will have three tough matches against Heilongjiang Bingcheng, Foshan Southern Lions and Liaoning Ironmen. Karanga will not be able to play for a month, which makes his form a challenge, and Dalian Yingbo has lost a lot of money as a result. With a 2-0 lead, an unnecessary move by Karanga could directly bury Dalian Yingbo's hopes of a season in the Super League. This year's foreign strikers have really gone through a lot of ups and downs.
Dalian Imbo does not rely on foreigners this year, and most of the matches do not have three foreigners starting at the same time. On an optimistic note, Karanga has yet to show a decisive performance since joining the team, and his only goal was just icing on the cake. Dalian has adapted to playing with fewer foreigners, and youngster Zhu Pengyu is expected to further solidify his position as the starting center forward. Yan Peng and Zhao Xuebin will be the preferred replacements for the strikers. Karanga also has a more positive attitude, with extra strength training during the holidays. With only two foreigners being uncommon this season, Dalian Imbo will need to clarify the team's discipline once again to ensure success in the Super League.
